about

Released in 2010, this album was originally a fundraising project to raise money after a devastating earthquake that destroyed much of a special part of Tibet where many prominent monasteries are located. Blessed by Surya's teacher Rimay Gyalten Sogdzin Rinponche, he offers his prayers to all on the final track of the album, and several of the songs are his compositions. Track 6 features a sample of Rinpoche's Guru the late Drubgen Yizhin Norbu Rinpoche chanting the Auspicious Prayer for Good Fortune. Rinpoche and his students continue to fundraise to support his village and monastery in Tibet. Please go to www.rinpoche.ca or www.rimayblessings.com to learn more or support these various projects. A portion of the album sales of this project will always go back to supporting this wonderful cause. Om Sarwa Siddin Dza Hung - May all miraculous accomplishments arise. Tashi Delek!
